A new multiplayer Zelda without having to buy a console and additional cables?

With online multiplayer and multiple costumes that affect your individual playstyle?

I think those people are under the assumption that all Zelda games are made by one team and that the Zelda U team stopped working on Zelda U to work on a spinoff/remake

True, and they're probably in the minority as well.

However, I think fans are still upset Zelda U is getting delayed and not everyone is as excited about a Four Swords Adventure sequel like me (but they should!) so they're treating it like Metroid Blasters and Animal Crossing Party because that E3 direct was pretty terrible.

It doesn't really work like that. The people working on the spinoffs working on something else doesn't translate to a new game.
