Also where on earth is that Wii-U price cut? Was atleast expectong that...

It was terrible. Pretty much everything was terrible and the Zelda game, it pains me to say, was beyond terrible. The best thing about the whole Direct was Super Mario Maker but not because of what they showed here.

I said in the Ubisoft thread that their conference was boring as s**t. That's already bad, but Nintendo's was bad because they showed bad things.

1) Metroid prime - federations (showing pvp death match's in multiplayer + multiplayer football game mode)
(this looked nothing like metroid to me, and it looked dated)

2) Mario & Luigi paper jam (butchered paper mario title, not a rpg, looked like a bad sticker star game)
(this one hurts, everytime a paper mario game is made thats not a turn based rpg, my heart bleeds...)

3) Animal Crossing... (cards + amiiboos and a monopoly game?)


4) Zelda tri-force heros (multiplayer game... cuz thats what we all want in a zelda game, am I right?)


5) Mario Maker (meh? why would I want to make levels? I rather have a mario game than make mario levels for others)


6) Mario Tennis (I wanted a Mario game.... this wasnt it)


7) Fire Emblem - Fates (no gameplay showed, just anime trailer, 3ds game)


8) Yokai Watch , 3DS game but looked good.


9) SMT X FE (japanese speech, no subtitles, all CGI cutscenes, no gameplay shown)


10) Xenoblade chronicles , wii U game, this actually looked good.


11) Yoshis wooly world, wii U game, this kinda looked good.


12) StarFox , wii U game, this looked okay, but had graphics that looked like it was made for the gamecube or the Wii (not u). Graphics didnt look amasing, and the gameplay was decent looking at best. The controlls with the gamepad looked like crap.




I guess I was just expecting more than this you know?
WTF was with that video tease where they used frogs theme from chrono trigger? They just enjoy toying with us?

Clearly the worse E3 I ever saw. A disappointment to Nintendo fans such as myself. I'm not a graphic whore but that StarFox looks more like a GameCube game than a HD Wii U game.

With as bad as it was, I won't throw in the towel yet as in E3 for Nintendo is not as impactful given they have directs. Reggie says that there's plenty and they couldn't show it all. Either he's right, which I'm hoping, or he has one damm good poker face. Still, the biggest disappointment is the graphics of StarFox.

Starfox atleast still seemed like it was a "real" starfox game.

Nintendo butchered their Paper mario, Metroid, and animal crossing.

Zelda tri-force (3ds) was focused around multiplayer mode.... who the f*** gets a zelda game for its multiplayer funktions?

The only game there, after what they showed I'd consider getting would be Xenoblade chronicles.

Its insane how big the differnce was between Sony's E3 and Nintendo's.

Everything Sony showed was like "wooooahhhh that looks so good, and look at the gameplay! amasing".

Then you realise they left plenty of big titles out, simply because they didnt have the time to do  & show everything.

It was like Night  & day, compaired to nintendo's.

Dreadful.

Not for me it aint, another hardcore Nintendo gamer lost.

I have to say, this was quite disappointing for me. I do love the games shown, but it seems that more time could have been invested in other announcements as opposed to letting one game reign supreme. Quite the polar opposite from last year. Here's hoping that Nintendo can bounce back come the Tokyo Game Show.
