Shenmue III on Wii U would be amazing.

It should be a kickstarter goal imo

Sony obviously gave a huge push to this kickstarter, i dont think an X1 version has any chance of happening and a Wii U one is highly unlikely aswell.

but but but microsoft is willing to pick up sony's failings and support campaigns like Silent Hills obviously (oh... wait).

Dreams have been coming true lately, so maybe, but there's no reason to believe it would be coming yet. They'll unveil more goals I'm sure, and I imagine that X1 is going to make it before Wii U. We shall see soon I think.

It states in the Kickstarter that they "haven't decided on other systems yet". I'll definitely contribute if they may the Wii U a stretch goal.

EDIT: You should change your poll... I clicked on the thread thinking that the poll would match the thread title, and voted maybe as to whether the game would come to Wii U, not whether I would buy it on the Wii U - which is a definite yes!

I'm sure other coffee-fueled click-happies have made the same mistake already. The conflicting poll/thread title is likely throwing off the results. 

Highly unlikely, though I would definitely be interested if it did come to the Wii U
