The announcement for the Final Fantasy VII remake has me incredibly hyped.
I never got to play the original (sadly), I always wanted too though, it was just one of those games I never got around to playing.
Now that it is getting a fully fledged remake, I will definitely be getting this game for the PS4. I am definitely not missing this title, I am more hyped for Final Fantasy VII than Final Fantasy XV. That may be considered weird but that is just how my opinion on the matter.

This remake will likely arrive before Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III, just saying ;)

You can thank mobile gaming for this.

With the money coming in from mobile, they can afford to take risks on new things and give bigger budgets out to dev teams.
