you seem really, really offended for some reason. I'd like to point out however, that the pipboy has been around long before the wiiu. |
Nah, not really offended. As I said, I really don't care.
And sure, the pip boy has been around longer, but never as a second screen ;)
Thanks to dual screens I have TWEWY and Kid Icarus Uprising so I like them :D
Wait, what? Is this a joke or something? I`m lost... 2 screens are pretty cool, I think...

My goodness, Nintendo fans seem to take even the slightest of jokes very personally. He was making fun of his own product mind you, so I really don't see why people are getting up in arms over it.

it's been done, as a second screen, as a phone, as a stand alone rasberry pi computer, loads of variations.
don't underestimate peoples creativity.

Lol, though I've never seen it, doesn't mean it never existed. So I'll just agree with you. But not in any mainstream way.
I find it funny that he said most second screen experiences are a stupid gimmick and then immediately says theirs is cool and it's the same "stupid gimmick" that 90% of major releases on Wii U and 3DS have. Seriously, nearly every utilization of the gamepad or touchscreen is a menu or map function. Wind Waker HD, OoT 3D, MM 3D, XCX, Watch Dogs, etc. If he wants to see a real awesome use of a second screen, two words: Etrian Odyssey.

It was an unnecessary comment delivered without tact. The way the audience reacted made me weep.
