Can I ask what the general consensus on this game is? Do people enjoy this maybe more than Mother 2 or 3? Or is it just a good game that kicks off the series?

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I think it is more the fact that it was the game that started it all and was never released anywhere outside of Japan until tonight.

Let me just say that all the games in the Mother series are masterpieces, however, the series from best to worst would be

Mother 2>Mother 3>Mother 1

Mother 1 is still an amazing RPG that I HIGHLY recommend playing
