it depends what you value. I think they won last E3 because what they announced was much closer to release than MS and more surprising than Nintendo. I didn't see LBP3 coming at all and Bloodborne was first officially announced there and they both came less than a year out. It's nice having a company that announces stuff that's not years out or even coming out that year and was kept a legit secret. You could say there were rumors but A) There are rumors for everything leading up to E3 and B) MCC was also leaked along with Scalebound
Nintendo announcing Zelda is no surprise and I think they had already announced it was in development at their one direct. Then MS announces Phantom Dust, Scalebound, and Crackdown FAR out from release.
By recent trends I'm thinking Sony will have some more games close to release especially considering they have the most studios. Nintendo will begin ramping down WiiU support but Zelda dungeon gameplay and Starfox gameplay will make for a nice show and MS will probably show actual gameplay or trailers for all the stuff they just had CG teasers for last year. The problem with that is no real surprises so the impact is a little less. Nintendo may "surprise" us with Metroid but when is the last time that missed a gen? N64?
I am Iron Man
Too soon. From where I'm standing MS in particular has a lot of potential. Nintendo?.... No comment.
How is it even possible to declare a winner before we've even started? Way I see it all companies have a lot of great rumours circling around and no doubt more will be coming on the day as well. So the true "winner" will be the gamer, or whatever intrigues the individual the most.
Definitely too early to tell.

yeah I say they won for me because those games never really excited me. I mean they're nice little diversions but Captain Toad was basically an expansion. I'm counting First Light if you're counting that.

What does the OP means by winning? Star fox is my most awaited gaeme this year, thus Nintendo "wins" for me... There is not a thing such as a winner. Gamers get games therefore gamers win, no companies.

I'm always wrong about this.
I'm guessing Microsoft is going to put their money where their mouth is, though. I think Phil has pushed Microsoft to acquire more deals like Tomb Raider and I think they're going to pull out more than one shocker.
My projected order:
Microsoft
Sony
Bethesda
Nintendo

This (actually what Cone said should be obvious).
