Probably because they get a big cheque from facebook.

I personally don't care for VR but it makes sense because Oculus is going to have a bigger Market on PC than Morpheus on PS4. I'm just surprised that two former Sony second party's are making and Exclusive game on a VR device that is competing against their own, but I'm sure that Sony is buying Exclusives for Morpheus because they have to.

Facebook are very stupid if they invest anything significant into a studio who has got a bad rep these past few months

Morpheus has 0 competition and Oculus has a fair bit; Vive and StarVR. 

Oculus will make their money on hardware and exclusive-software, so the price of Oculus will probably be greater than morpheus, as sony can subsidise the cost (like they do with console hardware) because sony can make it back on the vr games. Most VR games will be purchased through steam as it is.
So it's very "out there" to say Oculus will have a bigger market.

 No dude Oculus will have a bigger market than Morpheus even with the competition because PC is an Open Market while Morpheus will always be tied to PS4.

I played the order and it's not worse than Ryse. So maybe with VR they can create a better cinematic experience.

That engine is nice but who knows how it would hold up in a broader scope with less scripted elements.

Sounds like their next game won't be good either.
