I am currently going through the entirety of Dragon Ball Z in preparation for this new series (almost done with the Cell saga).

Finally a sequel to Z that is actually written and directed by Toriyama. Dragon Ball GT really wasn't very good, and indeed, he just acted as a general supervisor and didn't write anything for it...

Although I wish he'd have released this new series in manga form instead since I think the manga is much better than the anime.

Is it drawn by Toriyama though? Or just pics taken from the anime?

Dragon Ball Super is set to begin airing in Japan on Fuji TV, July 5th, 2015.^[3] Akira Toriyama alongside Toyotaro will be handling a manga adaptation and it is going to be released in V-Jump monthly.^[4]

Now, I will hope the localization won't take forever.
