1. I guess we should all be happy we didn't have to wait for this dissapointment.
2. Transformers is cool, Platinum are talented, so its still a cool announcement just not what we'd had wanted (a new IP)
When I heard Transformers I was disappointed. When I saw that it was Gen1 I wasn't that disappointed. I will hold out for gameplay before passing final judgement.

Platinum is way overrated here and mainly in GAF... people thread then like they are the best action developer in the world when their best game is not even an 8/10 for me.
My biggest issue with Bayo is that it is too easy and too repetitive... ohhhh and I Platinum'ed it... even the hardest difficult was plain easy.

It has been a while since I hold my breath for a third party release on the Wii U, but I have at least hope for this one, Activision has not left the console completely, Platinum has experience with the same and is a family friendly franchise, plus we got a butchered and incomplete version of the previous Transformer game. Still not very hopefull...

Sadly, Platinum is still a hit or miss developer, especially for something like this. That Legend of Korra game was god awful, and I have a bad feeling this is going to end the same, being rushed out just to milk money off a popular show. Legend of Korra was published by Activision as well...

Released? I think Skylanders: Trap Team in 2014 (also released on that same year, Amazin Spiderman 2, Transformers: RotDS, and the Voice)
Announced we have: Skylanders Superchargers and Guitar Hero Live both for 2015
