Bethesda absolutely nailed it.

Now I hope Nintendo and SE nail it. Nintendo showed an impressive Mario Maker to start off with, but we all know what we want from Nintendo this year: Metroid damn it. That's really all they have to show. Well that XCX and Starfox.
I'm certain Sony will at the very least be the medium company; they've rarely ever had the worst showing (I think the last time that happened was 2006 with the giant enemy crap and RIIIIDGE RACER meme creation).
I think we can all feel like we're in good hands with so many of the third party companies too.
Lube Me Up
Bethesda done great with what they had, I just feel like what they had wasn't much.

This. A new Metroid would be amazing.
I think we shouldn't underestimate EA and MS. The first has Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge (and it might not turn out to be a disaster), and MS will probably have a few surprises for us, in my opinion.
I really think this is going to be a great E3.
The best part about Sony's 2006 E3 conference is still the Warhawk sixaxis demo. Pure gold.
