No one can do Metroid better than Retro. Wonder what they're up to right now

It is next level games, so Metroid Prime: Federation Force will probably be a quality title. Before E3 I would never of thought that this new next level game would receive some much criticism.

Like Captain America was? :P

That said they've not put anything bad out under Nintendo.

I don't think that Metroid game looks good at all though. I'm not really sure why Monster Hunter needed shoehorning into the Metroid universe. But we'll see how it pans out. I think it's just visually very jarring once you're used to much more highly rendered Vita stuff.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Well, this is maybe controversial, but, if this game wasn't called Metroid I wouldn't mind, and I actually like it a bit. But, I don't know why they decided to call it "Metroid Prime" when it's obvious that it's everything but Metroid...

I still refuse to believe that they aren't working on a WiiU/NX game!

They were working on a Wii U game. I bet it was moved to NX!

I  wonder what it could be..  I would love to know what NLG, Retro, Monster Games, etc.. are working on!

Since they don't have resources to do big AAA titles, like they said before, I would think the other game is Mario Strickers or Luigi's Mansion 3. I'd be fine with either, but a new Luigi's Mansion for the NX would help it a lot, I think (especially if it was a launch title).

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I still don't know about Retro though. Some have suggested that they might be working on a new DK game or maybe DKR2, but I highly doubt they are working on a new engine just to make another DK game!

If the game is intended for the NX, it wouldn't be a surprise that they needed to create a new engine, even for DK. But, yeah, I'm thinking they're doing another thing too. Maybe Monster Games is doing the new DKR2...

The gameplay looks like a lot of fun, but Nintendo spoiled this game's good will by calling it "Metroid Prime", something which it scarcely resembles. After "Splatoon", they should have known fans were ready for some new IPs.
