I just don't want this series to get Assassin's Creed syndrome (more of the same and made only for money).
Uncharted 4 is right time to end series and turn to other projects.

i love uncharted. i also love new ip. ..but mostly i love the idea of a franchises going out on a high note. i'll have far better memories of the franchise if they leave me wanting more than if they milk it until i'm asking them to please stop. let it go. we all know ND can create the next big franchise so i trust them to start up a new IP instead of working on this one.

I think this Uncharted 4 should be the last Uncharted period. Almost everybody who has played it, critics and gamers alike, will send off this franchise with fond memories (unless U4 somehow undoes all of that) and Nathan Drake IS uncharted, i just don't see it working with any other protagonist. The Uncharted has left a giant mark in the game industry, much like Gears of War did back when it released.

Uncharted 2 was my first PS3 title and it was some of the greatest gaming i've done to this day. No doubt I will miss uncharted once it is put to rest.

No they don't, but rather do it to Kratos and start a new trilogy in a different mythology.

I will not miss the games as much, merely since as you mentioned a numerous amount of sequels after each other can get boring fast.

I know Naughty dog can do another amazing New IP so really I'm more excited for what the future holds.

Hey! At least both Santa Monica and Naughty Dog gave us a third installment of the franchise, something valve can't seem to do >_>.

It had a good run but it's time to move on, though I wouldn't be averse to a Victor Fucking Sullivan spinoff.

No, I think Bioshock is a more compelling universe. TLOU was also slightly overrated.

ND's new IP after Uncharted will fill the void.
