Forums - Microsoft - Forza 6 to finally add weather and nighttime racing. Also "1080px"? Oh, and first screens.

Well even if it doesn't get any of the classic layouts it will have a lot of classic cars both race and street cars since all the classic cars from 5 will be back all the classic cars from Horizon 2 will show up eventually they will bring back some classic cars from 4 and they will add some new ones.

That Porsche leak was just from yesterday. Might get interesting. But i likely won't buy another Forza Horizon 2 DLC. Well, maybe if it has Storm Island like new landmass.
Forza 6 is a wait and see now. I'm expecting more or less all Forza Horizon 2 and Forza 6 cars, except maybe some of the offroaders. Plus some old and new ones.
It still is less than Forza 4 had from the start, not to talk about DLC. So there's definitely not every car returning.

Actually its from last Tuesday when they leaked info about the Porsche pack instead of the June car pack for Horizon 2 (which is one of the best packs so far because of the Mazda Cosmo).  Its not a lot less over 450 is not far off from 483 plus Forza 4 launched with a fair amount of duplicate cars.  If 6 is like 5 there will hardly be any.  I don't think the Porsche pack in Horizon 2 will add a new land mass but I'm thinking it will have 20 different Porsches a Porsche specific buget list and Porsche specific racing events plus 500 more achievement points so it will be more or less like the Porsche pack in Forza 4 which added 30 cars and new events to the career mode and 250 achievement points and a few new badges.

So there's definitely not every car returning.

I guess with the new ones some just won't come back. That's ok because if you don't drive a Yaris/Vitz (like i actually do) you probably have ne need to drive it in game.

And yes, Forza 4 had a few clone cars. Especially race versions and stuff like Aygo/C1/107. I left out Forza 5 but Horizon 2 has the Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86 for example.

I'm fine with that though as long as it's not 10 versions of the R34 Skyline like in GT. That game has to many clones nowadays.

I'm thinking a fair amount of F class cars will never show up in a Forza game again and definetly not in Forza 6.  Like the AMC Pacer and Gremlin for example now that they added the AMC Rebel in Horizon 2 I can't see those two coming back.  I think there is a decent chance for another new AMC car like the AMX or a different version of the Javelin could come to Forza 6.  All the fairly modern city/subcompact cars like the Yariz, Smart FourTwo, Austin Martin Cygnet, VW Fox and the three clones you already mentioned I can't see come back either.  That is really not a big loos though since rarely used any of those a lot in Forza 4 and really did miss many of them in Forza 5.  The only missing F class car that I would really like back is the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 I'm thinking that Jermeny Clarkson somewhat derogatory original describtion of the car and the people that where involved in making it probably in Forza 4's Auto Vista mode had something to do with it not showing up in Horizon 1, Forza 5 and Horizon 2 but now that Clarkson is no longer with Top Gear and will more then likely will not be in Forza 6 I can see that car coming back in Forza 6.

I like to pimp cars like that up massively. Forza Horizon 2 1963 Beetle with that Subaru 2.5 boxer. Or was that flat engine in english?
But at least it will be enough old sports cars.

Well the 63 Beetle is going to be back for sure.  Also I'm thinking since it will have over 450 cars they probably should bring back a couple car classes from 4.  I'm thinking they should split D class into D and E class and since they probably will add a lot of race cars they probably should have the same top classes as 4  R3, R2, R1 and X.

Basically a wait and see. But I'm really looking forward to this now.

Hopefully a megaton of info next week.

Well the Porsche expansion pack for Horzion 2 drops tommorow a guy from forzacentral that I think also works for Turn 10 or has close contacts with them released the trailer on Youtube.

Just ten cars I'm thinking it will be $9.99 plus I don't think it will be the last car pack for Horizon either since we still don't have a non promo version of the Nissan Juke Nismo.

So they're finally making a racing sim.

They have been for a while now, at a faster pace then others and with the best critical acclaim since the first game.

Sure you could say Forza 5 metascore isn't as high as its main competitor, but I can easily move the goal posts and say this was a launch exception, and for THIS generation, it is running unapposed, unless you count Project Cars. In which case, Forza 6 makes a great case to overthrow it.
