If this would happen

Imagine if MS bought GTA exclusive rights (exclusive exclusive) for the XBO, Sony bought COD exclsuve rights (exclusive exclsuive) for PS4, and Nintendo bought FIFA exclusive rights for the Wii U. Which would make the biggest impact saleswise?

GTA for Xbox is my guess

I think the meltdown would be a far more interesting subject to closely examine than the sales in this hypothetical situation.

Closely followed by COD PS4

Distant third Wii Fifa.

GTA. Although FIFA exclusively on WiiU would be the most hilarious. Riot in Europe :D

GTA would be the bigger one. I think CoD fans would cause a louder shitstorm, but GTA is just too big.

Nintendo buying FIFA is just too bizarre to picture it.

COD being the yearly franchise would be the bigger impact, GTA its huge but it doesn't come out quite as often.

Yeah, but what if Nintendo lost the rights to ... hm.

Cod would lead to a pretty good yearly boost for PS4, while GTA would lead to a ginormous boost ounce ( or twice ) this generation. So in terms of sales, they are either draw or Cod just managed to beat GTA in terms of console sales boost.

Fifa would increase sales for the WII U, I guess even enough to beat the GameCube in terms of sales and almost reach the N64.
