Hmmm.

Some suggestions, though i might be making it too complex:

- Find a way to differentiate between small-scale and AAA releases
- Differentiate digital only releases.

- Investigate the use of bands. For example, using a flat average of all games of a certain type will include a few small and badly performing games, that will skew the otherwise very appealing nature of better games.

Finally, you're missing Fable Legends, which is pegged for a 2015 release, and on your criteria will come with a ranking of about 84-85.

I think the simplest way of going about it is to just separate games into retail and digital-only groups. There will occasionally be an obvious exclusion (like an indie retail collection or a limited indie retail run), but it works most of the time and involves little work. It also avoids definition debates, since while 'AAA' is used in a dozens different contexts by different people and companies, 'retail' is pretty firm :p

Thee simplest way? I think is the only way. This should really be done.

But on the first thread someone pointed out a list war website that already included ranks, retaail, ports and all that. That seemed to be more than perfect and we should just use that.

Ahh ok.

So Journey was a Kinect spin off, Fable Heroes was an Xbox Live Arcade beat em' up.

Fable Legends is a AAA mainline Fable entry - they appear not to be making 'Fable 4.'

Ahh ok. Will alter again.

Slipery slope. Some one from the other side will use the same argument then to change a score on the oposing list. If you already set up a rule system, I dont think you should be making exeptions. You can probably adjust the rules and improove them, but not make exeptions.

I don't think its an exception though?

Including Heroes and Journerys would be like including pokken tournament and mystery dungeon when looking at recent Pokemon game quality.

Using same rule as the other games. I just messed up with Fable and needed to be corrected

I dont know, legends seems to be a lot more like heroes then the main trilogy.

Then you should edit the rule and say that only "main line console releases", instead of "the last 3 releases" count. Otherwise I see a lot of people debating this.

Being a AAA big budegt game does not matter. The gameplay is still a lot closer to heores than it is to the main trilogy. Legends is a beatem up 4v1.

This seems incredibly promising. Would love to see it once everything is ironed out.

Yeah I'd definitely agree with you there, this looks way more like Heroes. This looks nothing like the original 3 fable games. I think it's fair to include heroes.
