So this is the inaugural year? Cool that they started this - I think the medium deserves it just as much as any other Hall of Fame. SMB is well-deserving of the title!

I guess video games are finally transitioning into a recognizable, prestigious medium (like movies, music, etc.) instead of just a "kid's toy?" Having a Hall of Fame for games is a step for more credibility and good news for gamers, I would think.
