Edit: though a FF6 spin-off sounds kinda exciting but I hope that (if it's true) they don't ruin the characters because it's my favorite cast from any rpg ever.

One things for sure Sony japan are a huge studio, they have over 400 staff, they could definitely handle the output.
If we're talking about 5 major projects, perhaps some being collaborations with other major publisher's studios then 5 big things would probably be the least to expect, Sony would likely be planning things for years down the line, maybe even future projects for their next platform, because it takes years to make huge titles and they're learning to make sure they have plenty of new games to launch a future system with to prevent the delays that have happened this generation.

As far as what's coming soon, the guys that made Knack and the others that made Puppeteer would have to be over a year into something new by now and Sony may have expanded that division without people knowing.
I think Dualshockers regularly lists job ads for SCEJ too.

I guess we'd see if more major projects would be ramping up in Japan by the staff situation.
From what I understand Verrendus is about up to par with Shinobi602 in reliability, but he either doesn't have a twitter account linked to his Neogaf account, doesn't have a twitter at all or just doesn't have the presence on Twitter like Shinobi does.
