Splatoon Digital Ratio High in Japan? Maybe Splatoon FW is Closer to 200k Sales!?

WiiU rankings are reliable, SSBU sold over 43k, Splatoon surpasses that and is 2nd highest Sold game on the eShop!

Not Exactly any proof, just speculation. Using Surperior tracker MC, Splatoon Debuted with about 145k sales FW and had an intial shipment of 150k.

Why i think or some of you for High Digital Sales?

~Day 1, Splatoon sold 80% of its shipment (Over 120k) and practically all of it by Friday (Day 2)

~Amazon Japan has had Splatoon #1 for weeks now, with the DL version (you can buy despite being digital) being in the top 3 since Splatoon's release.

~Since many stores were sold out, obviously if anybody wanted the game without waiting Digital is the way to go!

~Demo Hadmade a purchase of the game a bit cheaper

~DL size is less than 2gigs

~Because I just think Digital Sales are high :P

That said, Digital usually isnt a huge factor, especially for wiiu games. The norm would probably be 3-5k, maybe 8-10k because of how well splatoon sold, but obviously im thinking way more. By way more i think at least 20k FW, but possibly 25k-50k. It just depends on a number of factors.

That would put FW sales if im correct at least 165k FW, but possibly 170k-200k?

Thoughts?

Hard to say: digital sales aren't tracked as far as I know. Nintendo would certainly know.

We can get an idea with Famitsu, they give out #s once a month!

If your sales prediction of Splatoon hitting 1 million in a month comes true, we'll probably know later this month either during E3 or the shareholder meeting end of june.

Then we'll know the digital attach rate!

I believe this promotion was only available for the UK, but may be wrong..

I doubt the Digital Sales were that high, but it definitely still made an impact for sales

They wont give us Digital numbers :-/ Only Famitsu looks reliable atm

I'm talking about Nintendo themselves announcing the sales, in a way similar to how they announced MK8's sales when it hit 1.2 million it's first weekend :)

The digital numbers should be significantly higher than other Nintendo games, but unfortunately that's not saying much lol.
