Honestly I don't think another AAA Tomb Raider was going to happen without Microsoft publishing and marketing it. So I'm sure Square is fine with whatever sales they get, they already have their money. But I see Tomb Raider doing very well as an Xbox One exclusive.

And uhh you do remember the new tomb raider trailer got anounced on the conference of sony e3 last year and not microsoft's?

But what does that mean klaudkil? It means microsoft paid to get it timed.

I can't really say whether or not it'll come to another console. I lean towards a "no", but it could. As of now it is exclusive and I can only talk about its performance on the confirmed platform. They weren't happy with the previous Tomb Raiders sales, we all know that. I think it honestly wasn't going to happen, (or as soon) without the Microsoft money and support.

I still can't believe people think Square-Enix wouldn't have backed another Tomb Raider without Microsoft's monetary help. It's a HUGE franchise, let's not be that naive. Either way, they all will be successful, but I don't believe Microsoft's timed exclusive advance will really halt sales on PS4. It's more of a nuisance, and when all is said and done it will sell the most of PS4 because the adoption rate of TR is higher with Playstation.

Phil spencer himself said a couple of days ago AGAIN confirming its a TIMED exclusive.

Its been known since microsoft anounced it.

Since RTR sales on PS4 will be 0* that gives the win to UC4 right?

They'd likely have been more conservative without Sony or MS as a safety net (which wouldn't, in theory, have been too hard. The original cost far more than it should have), but if they can make Deus Ex a financially viable AAA IP on less sales, i doubt they'd leave TR on the side-lines. It's too valuable an IP for them to not make good use of it.

Well, the only Tomb Raider game confirmed to be releasing on PS4 sold .89 million units according to VGChartz.

So I would think Uncharted 4 will beat that.

Collections are a lot harder to predict. But the collection features 3 well received games from a popular franchise, on a console with a much larger install base.

Uncharted 4 > Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 > Rise Of the Tomb Raider One > Uncharted Collection
