Which will be the biggest beating and better ROI??

Have Square-Enix done the best choice?

Square is boned. The Uncharted collection will outsell Tomb Raider on the Xbox this holiday and then Uncharted 4 will crush Tomb Raider when it lands on PS4 next year.

Yep. That XB1 timed exclusivity was not a good move for Square Enix, but rather good for Microsoft.

Too bad for SE UC4 got delayed and will compete directly with Tomb Raider PS4 edition...

Yeh being able to market tomb raider against uncharted 4 was their bet and would have been good for both titles marketing wise (console wars are good for that). Now that it's uncharted collection they will be able to do that to a lesser extent.

As for Uncharted 4 vs the PS4 version of Tomb Raider, I don't see them going head to head. We have Uncharted in early 2016 and tomb raider ps4 version likely mid year/summer (6 mo exclusive) or even an entire year after (depending on the deal).

The Uncharted Collection kicking Rise of the Tomb Raiders teeth in during the holidays. A new AAA  game being beaten by a remaster? Not unheard of, (TLOUR vs. Titanfall) but certainly more humilliating that Tomb Raider being beaten by a full blown, brand new Uncharted game.

Without any evidence to back it up, I feel that UC4 will more than double TR sales on PS4. I just think that the final game in a franchise as important as Uncharted, with the collection in 2015 to build up the fanbase even more, is going to do ganbusters.

I also have little doubt that TR on PS4 will outsell TR on XOne. Simply because the userbase is going to be so much bigger.

Did you see how much Tomb Raider sold and it was still disappointing to Square they probably were looking for someone to pay for this thing.
