There is no Gears of War collection to be meh about.
As for the first part, yes, everyone is super hyped for this, an amazing addition to the PS4 owners' libraries.

Everyone? Even you and XBox fans?
Sony fans are excited for this collection, but not for the Gears one. Because they're Sony fans, not XBox fans (duh!). The same as XBox fans are excited for an eventual Gears of War collection, but not for the Uncharted one. That's just the nature of things. Stating this in a Playstation thread, the way you do here only tells me that you're here to try to cause trouble.

Better believe everyone's hyped. I'm gearing up for my Uncharted run, I'm getting this game and Uncharted 4 in the same day.
People are probably meh because Judgement was mediocre.

Halo: The Master Cheif Collection was released one year prior to Halo 5: Guardians. Since the collection included 4 remastered games, that gives an average of 3 months to complete each game before the new game in the series comes out. If the Uncharted collection releases in June, that gives an average of 3 months to complete each game as well. Care to explain how one collection is "holiday desperation" and the other isn't?
You are also complaining about console exclusives releasing too close to each other in a generation where most consumers feel that they aren't releasing fast enough. Not to mention that you are complaining that this is happening on a console that you currently don't own.

Of course! Sony fans did it to us, and it annoyed us! So instead of being the better men and not spread that annoying and nasty behaviour, let's get revenge and do it in turn! Do to others, what you don't want them to do to you! That will sure help break the nasty cycle!
That's what you're saying, right?
I know all too well this isn't just a Sony fans thing. I don't go to the Microsoft part of the forums much, because I'm not often interested by what's going on on the XBox sides of things. Which means I don't see this happen as nearly often as I could if I spent more time there. Be sure though that I'm not only against that behaviour when it happens to Sony or Nintendo. It's annoying across the board. It makes it near impossible to enjoy a topic. And it should be discouraged as much as possible.
1080p/60fps and UC4 multiplayer beta? Nice!
