"premiered" in public (at E3 2008) they had a full gameplay demo.

Yeah it sucks that its cross gen just for the the fact that I'd prefer the game to be built for current gen systems in mind only D:

I do wonder whether this game was built with last gen consoles in mind.

Even if its announced soley for PS4/X1/PC that could simply mean last gen versions were canceled in recent months, the bulk of the game would already be done.
