Driveclub is an amazing game now, and when you buy a game you look at what it offers at the time of buying, so Driveclub is definitely worth buying.

I didn't enjoy TO: 1886 that much, but it doesn't count as a broken game either.

I don't buy broken games, if I know that they are broken.

For example, I didn't buy Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked early. The european version had an evil game breaking bug. So I waited until they fixed it and bought it cheap.

Jet Set Radio Future is still in my top 20 games of all time. I don't know if I would have bought it back then if I knew it was laggy and buggy as hell, but I thought it was worth metionning as it proves it's not an entirely new phenomenon, and it makes me less affraid of buying a game said to be buggy, as it can't prevent it from being great. Also ctrl+esc still not fixed in skyrim, still considered a hit lol. And that's the most basic feature ever.

Edit : Damn i forgot Digimon World ! It's in my top 5 and both Pal and NTSC version have game-breaking bug that were only fixed 10 years after release by romsstar.

I'm pretty sure it's unanimous that Driveclub launched broken and LBP3 had a number of problems as well. The order and blood borne no. 

OP: I've been interested in Driveclub as I don't like SIM racers so I think I'll check it out now that it's cheap and functional. Already played the Order and enjoyed it and currently living Bloodborne. Thanks! 

It's not the bad kind of arcade but the good kind as there is good feedback and it feels like you are really racing. Also without a lot of aid everything is still challenging and you get rewarded for everything you do within the race as well. Content wise it seems very good (good variety of tracks) and also because a part of the season pass is free and for the season pass itself they'll be providing even more content as initially planned there is more than enough game fun!

It's my first racer on PS4 after having played NFS Pro Street, NFS Shift, NFS Most Wanted, Burnout Paradise, Motorstorm 2, 3 and GT5 on PS3. DriveClub is a great game from Evolution and a lot of fun. Compared with similar games it is the best. Will be great until NFS (please let that be good, not like the PS3 ones) and GT7 releases

I happened to actually enjoy Arkham Origins on WiiU. While the framerate dips pretty bad, I never had a corrupted saves or progress-killing bugs like others had in my 40 or so hours of gameplay.

I guess the 360/PS3/PC versions had better framerate, but had those corrupted save/progress-killing bugs from what I hear.

Framerates in the mid-20s honestly don't bother me too greatly, though I do appreciate it when games run consistently at 60fps

Driveclub's servers were broken at the start, the offline part of the game worked perfectly fine. It had me instantly hooked, a very well polished game overshadowed by the online part.

The ongoing support has been great for DC, 11 free tracks, rain, tons of cars. Best value season pass with tons of interesting races to complete. I've never raced DC online though, once the challenges started working I was hooked on that. Why wait for an online race to start when you can start any challenge in 15 seconds without idiots driving in to you.

The only nitpick I have atm is that they limited the number of visible challenges in the menu a few patches back. I used to go through the long list of community club and solo challenges to do all the races. Now the list is restricted to 20 or so each and drift and time trial are still in the majority. I would have liked them to be sorted in categories.

Driveclub got hit by so many bad reviews. After they fixed it, I said I'd get it... Except I forgot about it until I saw this thread. I'll have to get it. It's a shame it wasn't handled correctly.

LBP3? I've never had issues with the game and I preordered it and played it since day 1. That was just reviewers being crappy as usual.

I will not buy a broken game, which is why I do not have an Xbox One. I was gonna buy an Xbox One for Halo MCC and the look what happened.
