I don't really mind it this way for me personally. There's enough to keep me going, while the updates are coming, though maybe not enough for others.

As long as it's withheld but free DLC then I don't really mind at all.

Though actually I would not even have cared if this updatewas 2/3 weeks later. I'm enjoying the game a lot as it is

keep people playing for a long time. If there are 15 maps in the beginning some people play them for 2 weeks and then get bored - stop. Nintendo want this people to come back every week.

Btw: all 5 online maps where already shown in e3 2014 trailer (and even more). Nintendo already had finished the maps, they cut them off because they want to not because they rushed the game
