.....That's weird.

Is it though? when its not releasing until Xmas, and E3 is where they will show gameplay.. thats enough time imho. No point showing gameplay a year and a half before its out.

I'm not surprised by the teaser either, I mean we all knew it was going to be shown at E3, so why not show a little bit of CGI and then thats out the way and it will be all gameplay at E3. Sounds sensible to me.

Yeah, I guess so. Would be nice if we got an idea or something.

Has anyone realized that the game was announced a year ago and we have seen NO gameplay footage yet...

i was fully aware of that. but yeah, it shows how a show at the end of the year can be really cool for this kind of stuff. instead of having to wait a full year between E3 and the following E3 for gameplay for a game announced at a previous show, they could show it off at the end of the year show. like how Sony did with Uncharted. trailer at E3, gameplay at PSX.

IMO MS should scrap gamescom, and make an "xbox show" in december, or just have a really strong precense at the game awards.

im not saying it doesnt make sense, i am saying it sucks having to wait a full year between a game being announced and seeing its gameplay. honestly, i really like it when games get announced with a gameplay section, like how Killzone: Shadow Fall and TitanFall were announced.

Well, Uncharted 4 got a gameplay footage last december and is supposed to release in maybe 8 months (so, a gameplay footage more than a year before the release). TR doesn't have any gameplay footage and release in what, 4-5 months ?
The PSX is useful after all ! (who knew ? ^^)

Well they claimed (which confused me) that the Uncharted gameplay was just a test area....... but yeah who knows.

We'll probably see ROTR footage at E3.

All Sony has to do at the beginning of their E3 keynote is show a 30 sec clip of Tomb Raider with and end screen saying......" Coming to PS4 Summer In 2016 "

All M$ hype train squashed in 1 swift blow.

That depends if Sony has a rights to do that. If they do, I'm sure they would. It's very doubtful that they will though, since it's probably part of the exclusivity agreement.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

Total fucking bullshit. Theres no reason for this to be an exclusive.
