I think the only time I ever play anything on easy is when I replay linear levels to quickly wrap up boring, tedious collectible achievements. I'll usually play games on whatever the second highest difficulty is the first time around, which is mostly normal or slightly harder than normal. Gives me a chance to just enjoy the game, and familiarise myself with its intricacies without it being too easy. Then I go back and play it on the hardest difficulty later for a nice challenge (and likely achievements).
I generally just play at the default normal difficulty, if I decide to clear up achievements after my initial playthrough I may choose easy to speed through them and if I go to the hardest difficulty it's usually during my second playthrouh of the game.
5 day trial of Cod is pretty good actually if you just want to play some multiplayer.
eeeeh not going to download 100GB just to play 2 campaign levels
I am looking forward to Pit People it looks like a real fun game but I thought it was going to be a straight up release not early access, Giving early buyers a $5 is nice though so I imagine the UK price will be £11.99 so I might grab it anyway in early access depending on how my gaming backlog goes in the next month :)
