Bought a years worth subscription for EA Access today and gave my free month from pre-ordering BF1 to a friend. Alos bought rise of the tomb raider this week.

EA access is real good value I bought a year of it early 2015 and only really played a few games yet felt it was still worth it,  I was going to buy Unravel for £7.50  but instead Just bought a month for £3.99 + got a month free and entered into a draw to win a Xbox One S for paying through paypal :) Also want to playthrough DA:Inquisition along with some GW2 during the time :)

Well, some bit of fun trivia, Phil declined to confirm it but Ralph did confirm that Forza Horizon 3 uses the same sea as Sea of Thieves

If they get Fable IV in development hopefully sharing tech should help development.

If they decide to give Fable 4 a go ahead which studio do you think will do it or maybe it goes second party?

Rare could do it if they increased staff and had several teams and wasn't there a rumour that rare had another game in production.

none of the first party studios have experience with rpg's so it would have to be second party.

Finally finished the Gears 4 campaign today after spending countless hours on multiplayer instead and I gotta say i'm impressed the story has got me so excited about the next instalment. Glad I got it finished before i go away tomorrow now I won't spend all my holiday thinking about it :D

I've had a blast with BF1 thus far. Great game.

It's really sad how low the price for XCOM 2 on PS4 and X1 is after only a month of availability.
Standard price on Amazon is 36€ and a big German retailer already has it on sale for 25€. Pretty insane.

Unfortunately I have too much to play right now, thus 25€ is still a bit too steep. Will definitely get it though for ~15€. Should only take another month :D :(

Well they should have launched XCOM2 for both consoles and pc at the same time. I'm going to buy it next year, there's too much greatness to play right now. Gears 4 and FH3 are taking my playtime, I've barely touched Fifa17 and I usually play Fifa a lot!

So do we call it RD3 or RDR2?

That teaser though did look great

So....Nintendo huh!

They just made my decision to wait on Scorpio easier, between now and Scorpio I'll be buying a 4K TV and Nintendo Switch, even more likely not to get Scorpio on launch.

I can deal with my Xbox One S graphics for a while longer

So much this.

Microsoft’s Xbox revenue declined 5% last quarter despite winning some U.S. market share from Sony

The Xbox One had a strong quarter in the United States, but Microsoft’s gaming division still saw an overall decline.

Gaming generated $1.9 billion for Microsoft in the first quarter of fiscal year 2017, which covers the three-month period ending September 30. That’s down 5 percent year-over-year. Microsoft explains that a lower average sales price of the Xbox One was the biggest reason for the decline, but this also helped the system outsell Sony’s PlayStation 4. The worldwide gaming business is worth $99.6 billion, and Microsoft is battling it out with Sony in the console sector and attempting to rehabilitate the image of Windows gaming to compete for as much of that cash as possible. That is starting to work when it comes to the Xbox One.

“Xbox One won U.S. console market share for Q1,” reads Microsoft’s quarterly financial report. “[That was] driven by the launch of the Xbox One S and new Xbox One game titles.”

Microsoft also noted that Xbox Live continues to grow in terms of active users, which is leading to more spending on digital goods and subscriptions.

“Xbox Live monthly active users grew 21 percent to 47 million [people],” reads Microsoft’s report. “Gaming revenue declined 5 percent driven by lower Xbox console revenue offset by higher Xbox software and services revenue.”

Also worth noting is that this FY17 Q1 release is the first time Microsoft has reported gaming revenue.

Nice to see they've separted Gaming Revenue.

Makes sense considering that the OG Xb1 has been around $250 for the past 3 months but still a bit shocking because the XB1S 2TB that cost $400 is the second best selling sku following the Halo one.
