I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get my new 4k TV to support HDR through my xbox one s. I have my tv's HDR effect at "high" and have my xbox set up to allow hdr. But it still says it doesn't support HDR for video content and game content

So I just beat Gears 4. A lot of questions get answered, coalition did a better job than 343 with Halo. Also don't want to spoil but if you speak Spanish you probably find out about something before you played the game.

I have a brand new lg 60uh615a. It supports 4k and HDR, but can't get it to work on my Xbox slim. I have HDR and 4k enabled in the settings on my Xbox. But when I click 4ktv details it says "your TV setup doesn't support hdr10 video content won't be shown in HDR". Says the same thing for games. I know for a fact the TV supports it I checked with the manufacturer. Anyone else having this issue? I'm lost what to do. I tried the other ports on the TV but that didn't work.

Ya I'm sure, and I tried that. But it didn't help me. On the lg website I saw someone else have the same issue with the slim but lg told them to speak with Microsoft.

I have LG OLED C6P and didn't face this problem. 

Did you check your TV HDMI settings? You might need to assign one HDMI port to receive high speed or high quality data.

I figured it out. I had to turn on ultra hd deep color on each port.

Well it arrived :D Such a great looking console :)

Viewing images on the Xbox One S online doesn't really show how small and sleek it really is and I was surprised when delivery man arrived with such a small box and I was thinking they must of forgot to put the console in the box lol. The revised controller with its few minor tweaks also surprisingly feels great to hold the extra grips on the back are a real nice touch but not used to the RB/LB been so soft to press and keep missing my active reloads at the moment :P
