Bought LG OLED C6P. I was about to buy the British model which is exactly the same but flat instead of curved. What made me make the change is the 3D. I read about people saying how amazing the 3D in last year models.

Originally I was looking to spend 1,200 on a 55" 4K TV with HDR. Then I read that the HDR format is not decided and either one of the HDR-1000 or Dobly HDTV could be the dominant format in the future. The only company that supports both format is LG and they don't recommend there normal screens. That is why I went with the $2,499 OLED TV.

I asked the guy in Best Buy if the new Xbox One S is able to play 3D movies and to my surprise he said even the original Xbox is able to do it. Will try my new screen once I arrive home.

In most of the stores I visit here, Madden bundle is the only one available. Microsoft needs to ship more of the cheaper bundle especially since PS4S is launching at $299.

It's sad to see that most of Recore's negativity comes from technical Issues I wish that they would have used Unreal Engine instead of Unity for the game. The good thing is that in the end Microsoft won't lose a ton of money on the game because it wasn't expensive to make (40$ game/"Cheap" Engine/Very Small Dev team) I hope that they earn a profit and make a sequel and use the 1st game as a learning experience on how to make the next one better.

I've played Recore for 2 hours and I can't see any critical technical issues that will justify 40/100 score. The game runs and looks good on Xbox One.

That is the TV I am looking to get in November. It is absolutely stunning!

Yeah honestly I feel like most critics are too harsh on this game, it shouldn't below a 6/10.

When I get a 4K tv it'll be one of the cheaper ones that are like $700. I simply can't justify spending $2000+ on a tv. The cheaper ones don't produce HDR colors as well as the more expensive ones, but I can live with that.

Depending on the size you want that shouldn't be too hard. Well Samsung has a K series that is fairly new and not bad at all. It was like $1.300 for a 55 inch back in Feb so by the Holidays you might find one for a lot less. As a matter of fact I think they have like a 55inch right now with HDR for like $999. My only suggestion would be to NOT get a Vizio....their 4k TVs look terrible compared to all others.

Did you get ReCore?

Although I know I didn't do it, but my advise is not to buy 4K TV this year. No real need of one as of yet. The only thing you can do with it is watch movies. Wait for next year or even 2018 and the $700 will give you a very good HDR TV better than anything in the market right now.

What changes out that there are TV's that only have software HDR where you can play the HDR content but won't notice the difference between it and the non-HDR. There are TV'show which have better hardware where you'Lloyd notice the difference in colors, those TV's are expensive (55" for $1000+).  Don't be fooled by HDR tag on the box.

The XB1 won aug NPD by 114k.
