Hey guys need a little help. I'm about to switch to an xbox one slim. So I'm going to sell my old one. I know I need to delete the storage and remove the accounts before I sell it. But I'm also wondering about the home console thing. My Xbox console at my house is set up as my cousins console and vise Versa so we can share games. Do we need to undo that before I sell it?



Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

If both you guys have internet constantly, you don't have to swap home consoles with each other. Me and my brother share games and don't jump though the hoops like you guys.

I'm probably being dumb but why would you need to undo it? just factory reset your Xbox One and then put your cousins XBL account on your new Xbox One S and make it his home console right? 

That makes sense I was just worried that because the console I'm about to sell is designated as my cousins home console that I wouldn't be able to transfer that to the slim I'm about to get. But everything should be fine if I just delete all accounts on it. Then when I get the new one I should be able to make that his home console again right?

Yeah that's fine, I factory reset my Xbox One and made my Xbox One S my home console with no issues.
