I really like The Crew. Bit surprised that it even has a story.

About WWE 2K16 though..... I think it's pretty bad. Loved Smackdown vs. Raw but this game is just extremely clunky and feels very limited. Actually was thinking about buying it or one of the future games in the series, but now I might not touch it ever again.

Microsoft currently developing around 14 games

Xbox’s Head of First Party Publishing, Shannon Loftis, during an interview with Geoff Keighley, discussed the upcoming plans for the division, mainly focussing on their efforts to bring more titles to Xbox One and Windows 10. For the last few years, Microsoft has excelled with their first party efforts, bringing us titles such as Halo 5, and more than one Forza racing title. But for many, Microsoft needed more games from their own studios and Shannon shed some light on their future plans.

‘I head first party game publishing for Xbox One or Windows 10 or any of our platforms, we right now have, I think, 14 games in development. We talked about four of those this morning – Killer Instinct, Scalebound, State of Decay 2, and ReCore. We also have Crackdown 3, which we announced has now been moved into 2017, and there are a few other ones that aren’t quite ready to be talked about yet.’

As such, she stated that Microsoft and Xbox are currently working on 14 titles. Upcoming games like Scalebound, ReCore, State of Decay, and more content in the Killer Instinct franchise headline just some of them. Shannon reiterated that many of these games haven’t been announced as of yet because they aren’t ready to be talked about yet, or even shown off.

This year’s E3 was dominated by titles that Microsoft was releasing this year, with Head of Xbox Phil Spencer stating that he wants E3 to be about games that are launching the year it’s being shown. Gamescom is usually where unannounced titles are revealed. Last year, Microsoft announced games like Crackdown 3 at Gamescom.

With Gamescom coming later this year, it will be interesting to see if any of these games will be revealed.

5? Unnannounced in Development Games?

14 huh?

1. ReCore
2. Scalebound
3. Gears 4
4. Halo Wars 2
5. State of Decay 2
6. Forza Horizon 3
7. Killer Instinct
8. Crackdown 3
9. Forza new franchise
10. Forza Motorsport 7
11. Halo 6
12. Sea of Thieves
13. ????
14. ????

So only 2 games unexpected games in developoment, pretty disappointing honestly. MS really needs to build up their First Party again, it's so weak right now.

Dude that's 14 owned IPs ranging from RTS, Action Platformer, Adventure, Arcade/Sim Racing, FPS, TPS, TP Adventure, Fighting, Action RPG, etc...

Who's doing that? Not even Nintendo has that range of diversity.

Well, if she includes all games it doesn't mean that MS can't still get games already in early development to increase the number so at least for 2018 they could add some from other devs to the library which people don't know about yet.

But who knows, we all know that nobody knows anything after interviews with Xbox guys

Wasn't Kudo Tsunoda in charge of the EU studios? Did he get another promotion?

Isn't he all about HoloLens and games for PC now?

Edit: Ok he is "Corporate Vice President" and for some different stuff responsible

"CVP working Microsoft Edge, HoloLens, 1st Party Windows Experiences, and other unannounced futuristic projects."

I put my bet on 5 unnanounced games. 1 is Halo 6 for sure, or maybe an spin of for being launched with Scorpio.

Rare is in the last stages of Sea of thieves and they'will have free resources soon, I think is clear that MS is going to milk talent in Rare again like on the first years of 360. I think a new Banjo, or another comeback of a beloved ip is very likely.

Another Remake of Gears 2 or 3 of The Coalition is likely also, they can include a copy with each Scorpio like they do now with Gears Ultimate. Be prepared for Gears 2/3 or both 60fps 4k.

Ori 2, something from Remedy and maybe Sunset 2, are posibilities also.

If they make peace with Valve You think that maybe we will ser another Left 4 Dead some day?

Going back to when I said I was hoping for a new studio announcement at e3 (which didn't happen obviously)

I would love a sunset sequel..but now insomniac are busy with 2 maybe 3 other games including Spiderman...this is my only major problem with Microsofts plan of contracting out a lot of their games to 2nd party..

Even If they want to make a sequel....they basically can't.

Yeah, they really need to build more 1st party studios. The whole 2nd party thing has now backfired 3 times; Ryse 2, Sunset 2, and Quantum Break 2 aren't likely to happen anytime soon, if ever, because they were all 2nd party games. Insomniac can't make Sunset 2 until they finish Spider-Man, Crytek has switched to F2P/VR now so they aren't likely to make Ryse 2 anytime soon, and Remedy has 2 other games coming with other publishers before Quantum Break 2 could potentially happen.

Quantum Break 2 they can make without Remedy fortunately since MS owns the IP. Remedy didn't seem that interested in a sequel anyway, so hopefully MS will find a new studio for it.

If those games sold well out of the

gate that wouldn't be a problem at all.

^ Yeah I'm going with that she was probably talking about her studio area specifically.

We know Hanno runs European Studios and Phil solely runs the American Studios, Shannon probably has nothing to do with them, at the very least she most likely has nothing to do with the American Studios, she has her own department she's probably speaking on behalf of.

Rethinking it however, If they managed to get the 3 games in 2017 it wouldn't be bad.

First Half

Sea of Thieves (Doubt it)
Halo Wars 2
Scalebound
Crackdown

Second Half

State of Decay 2
Forza Motorsport 7
-Insert Unannounced Game 1-
-Halo 6 pls?
-3rd Party Thing?-

Pretty great tbh.

You want Halo 6 in 2017? That would only be 2 years of development. I'd rather have a Halo 5 standalone DLC next year, something like ODST. Then Halo 6 in 2018.

Actually a Halo 5 expansion like ODST, The Taken Kind would do.

Ryse got destroyed by critics, it sold really good for that. Sunset Overdrive sold decent, could be better but I guess it's not a game for everyone and Quantum Break doesn't sell well but if it wouldn't be a console exclusive nobody would be surprised about not selling too good on the different platforms. It's a game which is already only for a smaller group of gamers (surely no game for the casual market) and then it didn't get too good reviews which hurt it as well.
