Would not be surprised if MLB demanded it be Multiplatform considering how dumb it is that they kept it exclusive all this time.

I honestly don’t care about the timed exclusivity for FF7:re especially since it’s episodic.

MLB's game RBI didn't sell and no one else was interested in acquiring the MLB license so i doubt MLB was in a position to demand anything.

MLB probably asked nicely if they can put their game on other platforms, maybe offering something in return. And Sony saw an opportunity to make extra money by making multiplatform a game than isn't exactly a console seller and it's practically non existent outside of the US.

Sony will be making extra cash because of this but having one of their 1st party studios now developing for multi platform and losing an exclusive doesn’t seem like a choice that they would have made themselves.

Definitely. That's why i said that it was probably MLB's idea and they must have offered something in return to make Sony even consider this.

It wasn't Sony's idea but i'm sure they weren't forced either.

Hum, where did you see that? I mean I'm really looking forward for this remake but was expecting to have to buy on PlayStation Four instead of Xbox, is this official somewhere? If so, I would be happy :)

Just a few posts above mine. It doesn't outright say Xbox but come on what other platform is it going to release? PC, sure but Xbox is getting every FF game nowadays and other former PS exclusives like Crash and Spyro 6 months or a year later. I don't have any doubts about it.
100% Scarlett, ~50% Xbox One. Not sure if they bother with it as X1S is pretty outdated, might as well skip it.
