I wonder why Microsoft didn't buy moon studio but bought double fine?

Because Moon refused the offer MS made and wanted to stay as they are. Moon would be impossible to manage with 30-40 people working from their homes  or would force everyone to relocate to an actual studio which they likely wouldn't want to.

They don't have to relocate them to a studio. They can set milestones and have a few managers that keep Microsoft updated. Not to mention Microsoft could probably offer them good employer benefits. Ori and blind forest is this generation best indie game imo and they can't let them slip away.

Bought 24 months of cheap XBL gold (€75) and did the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate upgrade.
Now I got Ultimate until May 2022. :D

Still the owners decision if he wants to sell his company or not. Not every founder wants to sell what he has achieved just for some nice extra cash

Yeah I saw them next to each other while browsing and thought it was a good deal, might as well collect the entire AC collection even though I gave up playing Assassins creed after I was so disappointed with AC3.

Odyssey is great, I only enjoyed Black Flag but Odyssey made me interested in the next AC game.  I platinumed it two days ago and my playtime was around 150 hours.  The game is huge. I would score it a 9/10.

Good to know and thank you for input, the changes to the franchise made in Odyssey and Origins definitely made me a lot more interested in the franchise again.

Same, I only have it till November. At least I'll have it long enough to be able to play The Outer Worlds for free.

ah shame, but there might be many more opportunities in the future once Ultimate runs out for you guys.

I was trying to wait a little because prices for XBL vouchers have risen by quite a bit since this offer was announced. But I had no idea how long this offer lasts so I felt forced to pay a little more for XBL. Bought a 12 month code for ~€27 last time in January.

If you are able to afford it then it really is worth buying 3x 12 month Gold cards and converting it to Ultimate which at the moment would cost £150/180 at RRP prices especially if you always keep your gold sub running anyway.

I actually had enough combined time to max out 3 years from Game Pass and Gold, Technically I've saved enough money to pay for 75% of the next gen Xbox hardware since I stacked up my 3 years worth of Game Pass when it was on offer for £3 a month which would total £108 but with reward points and £50 Xbox cards costing £47.50 at retail factored in I've now got 3 years of Ultimate for just under £100 opposed to the £400 it would cost for 3 years at the regular price saving me £300.

MS will probably make money on this as people with only a few months will transfer and keep Ultimate going instead of previously just having a Gold sub but if your aware of what you can transfer and a power user you have a great deal on your hands.

Wanted to try out Game Pass for PC. Turns out I need a Win 10 update in order to open the Xbox Beta Installer.
Took an hour to download and install the update and when it was ~95% completed, the update simply failed.
That's exactly why I stopped gaming on PC.
