Hehe I haven't had time to try that throne event yet. And I'll Be watching football world cup for the next four weeks so even less time for sailing.

Did any of you complete the Megalodon hunt? I thought it was pretty cool. Even trying to find another friendly crew was fun. Ended up slaying the beast a few times to help others complete it too.

I did it twice, wish there was some kind of loot to give me more of an incentive to keep redoing it and helping people. I'm excited for the big updates tho

True these events need a loot reward for helping others. Maybe a map to find something nice. Killing a beast should also give some rep towards pirate legend status.

 

I'm currently 38/29/31 and man it takes a lot of chests to level up GH now. Crazy there's already so many legends roaming the seas.

 

OotS will be though. Not really a fan of hunting skelly captains.. GH & MA are nice.

I'm 41/30/29 stronghold chests are a godsend, I'm still getting seafarers on lv40 voyages lol

At an E3 panel Rare talked about some nice things coming to the SoT updates. They also mentioned there are over 5k pirate legends. For a game with 4 million players 5k legends is a small amount. They need to make it easier to reach pirate legend.

It's probably a better option to create a new studio, find an industry veteran to be in charge(Itagaki) and then try to attract talent.

Idk, I think the endgame should take a little longer, really it's the achievements they need to fix.. some can literally take years to complete

I think it's way too long. Average player has 22 hours I'm SoT but only 5k are pirate legend. In Destiny reaching the initial end game is 16-20 hours then they have expansions that expand on the end game. They already talked about having content exclusive for pirate legends but that mean literally only 0.001% of the player base will have access to the Pirate Legend content they add in the future. They gotta make it easier for the average player.
