Been playing Valkyria Revolution lately.
This game has soooo many cutscenes, it's ridiculous. There are 5+ cutscenes in a row, then gameplay for 5 minutes and then another 5+ cutscenes.
I hope it won't stay like that, it's really annoying. Feels like I've watched a whole anime season.

How do you like the gameplay though?

It will stay like that if you will just progress through the story without completing side quests. The problem here is that if you play on normal you will be forced to do side quests because you need to grind A LOT in this game repeating the same side quests over and over again. I really wanted to 1000G it looking at how pretty easy the achievements are so I’ve done a lot of grinding but at some point I gave up because it is very time consuming and gets repetitive and boring before you meet achievements requirement.

Well I barely played more than 2 missions (not counting the training mission that could be beaten faster than the time it took for loading the mission).
I play it on easy because I've heard about the repetitiveness and I don't want to spend too many time on killing the same enemies over and over again (guess I've accomplished that...).
So far the game is very very easy. The standard enemies can be killed with one attack and the bosses are alright I guess. I've got so much health that I don't really bother dodging or blocking. Hope that changes (a bit).

Playable I guess? I'd much rather play Valkyria Chronicles 4 though. That's for sure.

Just found a guy who put all cutscenes together. According to this, I already watched 1 hour and 10 minutes of cinematics.... and I'm still in the first chapter.
Also it seems like there are several more hours of cutscenes yet to come.

EDIT:
Here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kicP-nAvwAQ
10 hours of cutscenes....

Thanks for the response I have been planning to get this since it isn't so expensive and also because it flew under my radar, I know that it got bad reviews but as long as it's ok then that's good enough for me I need more JRPGs for my X1.

Hey guys. Question. My kids Xbox one stopped reading disc. I ordered a Xbox one s to replace it. What is the easiest or fastest method to transfer the data? Or do I have to redownload everything Downloaded on the old xbox one?

Do you have an external hard drive? You can transfer your data to that.

Not sure if there are any better or other ways but from what I know the easiest way is if you have an external HDD you can backup the profile to it and just plug it into the new console and everything is there accounts and stuff that was installed, The other way I know is through Network transfer which transfers it across your local network from one console to the other. - Network Game Transfer

Check this out if your planning to put it all on an external and backing up the settings so they transfer across is a great feature - https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/console/back-up-your-settings
