Damn, I love those new enemy types and I love that there are different mechanics to beat them rather than just blindly slashing at them.

I'm cautiously optimistic about sea of thieves, but going to try it with my games pass anyway and even if it does underwhelm I know state of decay 2 is going to be my summer obsession.

Looks like studio gobo or electric square Xbox game will be a racing or a Forza game. In the contract between MS and electric a signature from one of the heads of Turn 10 is on the contract. Maybe Forza Kart?

Another Forza series? plus the gears spin off rumor. Not sure how to feel about this tbh.

Edit: I see it as a negative and a positive I guess, on one hand more games (granted from the same series) but on the other I'd rather see reboots of stuff like Perfect Dark or new IP's hmmm; BUT they're also the rumors of Fable being rebooted so there's that too.

The cloud news sound more like MS selling cloud technology to 3rd party developers and publishers than anything else.  This looks like MS is trying to leverage Azure as a platform for game development across multiple platforms not just for their games but anyone games.  

Also I believe MS would be looking to extend what Game pass is so you can stream or download games using the service.  It makes sense for them to give multiple options because it extend Game pass reach and covers disk based as well as stream base options.

Considering how much development changes Dead Island 2 has gone through too I can't imagine anything great coming from the final product, Microsoft should just focus on State of Decay, a zombie IP they actually own.

Yeah, I'd rather it be Shenmue 3 related, would be super dope if MS convinced them to make it multiplat and showed a new trailer for it at E3. Imagine if Sega showing up at the MS campus a few weeks ago was about Shenmue 1 + 2 HD as an exclusive or timed exclusive? Back to back Shenmue 1 + 2 HD and Shenmue 3 announcements at E3 would be so good.

But, if it is Dead Island 2 as a timed exclusive I won't complain, MS certainly needs all the AAA exclusives they can get, timed or otherwise.

I actually doubt that any Japanese publisher will make a timed exclusivity deal with Microsoft at this point. It's so stupid, especially when we talk about remasters of established IPs. Xbox One hasn't even sold 100k in Japan and timed exclusivity deals with Japanese publishers won't fix it.
