They showed a new Ori. The newest Crackdown. The new State of Decay and a brand new IP Sea of Thieves. Is Super Lucky Tales 1st party? It's new if so. After these drop we'll see newer games I'm betting. No more far out of reach announcements anymore. It's gotten completely out of hand anyway. I'm fine with it.

Now with all that being said. These studios have 12 months to show what they've been cooking. It has to get better. They have nothing holding them back. Hardware they can do what they want. Now just bring new ideas to the table. And for fucks sake make sequels to some of the popular OG xbox games

I believe that's the situation Shik. The backlash from almost everything they do or don't do is tiresome though. I understand some of it but a lot is bullshit. Everyone piles on. What can you do?

Super Lucky's Tales is a sequel to Lucky's Tales for Oculus, I don't think it's first party but there's no mention of "Launch Exclusive" so it's probably Lifetime and it's one of Shannon Loftis Games

I'd be happy with them doing shorter reveal - release times but this year feels like a horrible time to do it.

Agreed, I'm all for not blowing your load way too early, in fact, I think it's something the industry as a whole needs to do better, but MS at this E3, unveiling a new console-the most powerful console ever-really needed at least one first party wow factor game. Something that makes you say ya, I need that, and I need it now!

Anthem gave me that feeling, but it's multiplat, and far off

Hey guys. Just wanted to reach out and say keep the faith!

I know there's a lot of dumping on Xbox these days, but don't take it to heart. This community is strongest when there are lots of fans of different systems and games, and that includes Xbox fans!

We're a fraternity of gamers here, no matter the platform.

Indeed. I expected them to show at least one first party game where most will say "that is the best I have ever seen if it comes to graphics and the rest is awesome as well"

I mean, the purpose of the console is to sell to people who take this stuff serious and in the end we will probably see some PS4 PRO games which look better as everything MS could show with their first party  games (except for the lower resolution). If The Last of Us 2, God of War, Detroit and whatever...

That's not how you convince people that you need an Xbox if you want the best graphics available.

But enough complained now

I mean I didn't like the conference that much, but looking back it's been like this for years. I mean if you want variety of exclusive and first party, I hate to break it to you, but Xbox isn't the way to go. I'm hyped for a multiplat beast and exclusives on PS.

I'm glad everyone else is so concerned about Xbox though

I didn't even find the other years so much stronger for Sony. Sure, they get a lot of Japanese exclusives but it's not as if they do much for it and I'm also not interested in most of these Japanese games. Not to forget that Sony also showed games the last years which still take or took like 5 years until they really release...(Deep Down, FF7 remake and so on)

So for me, it was always pretty even. But I "fear" this year is different. I like Sea of Thieves and I love Forza but yeah...

I can't believe more people on here aren't talking about Anthem. If Sony had closed with that, it would be all anybody was talking about. Game looks fucking phenomenal.

It did look fantastic graphically, and the gameplay looked like it had potential. But I am concerned since it's online only, like Destiny.

Who wouldn't want a good version of Destiny? Destiny, for all it's flaws, is a massively popular game, and for good reason. Destiny's only real problem is that it never (even with all the expansions imo) had enough content. I mean there was also the utter lack of story, which sucked, but even that would have been forgivable given enough distractions.

If Anthem is anything like what it looked like last night.....it's already a million times better than Destiny. The world looked fucking huge, ripe for actual exploration. I'm hyped as hell
