Forums - Gaming - Who has the best exclusives in 2015? X1 or PS4

Whatever. I can't reason with you people anymore. PS4 has better exclusives, blah blah blah....

Bro its subjective. No one can definitely say one or the other has better exclusives. You are entitled to your opinion and there is nothing wrong with it. But you can't say XBox has more of them and you can't say PS4 has no gamez

I never said that, I just said I think the XB1 has a better exclusive lineup. This is how we came to all of this!

I Dont know about all of that, all I know is I entered when you said tearaway was an indie, shit kinda steamrolled from there and you were moving goal post like a hurricane in Haiti

The only person who seems unreasonable is you. Everybody else is simply stating that they prefer the PS4's lineup (which they are free to do so) while occasionally calling you on your nonsense (like how you tried to change the topic to sales and popularity when the OP mentioned neither). There is no need to become childish and defensive. The majority disagrees with you, deal with it.

Ok. But 75% of the list of PS4 exclusives are just first time indie's, and most will crash and die. That's not quality. I have no problem with a decent indie, but some unknown indie isn't going to entice me. Some people may like indie's, but I just can't get into them. Also the Xbox Arcade last gen had plenty of them, but no one every boasted about them (because few cared). Now, indie's are at the top of the industry. Sorry if you have a different opinion, but most the indie's on that list stink in my opinion.

What are you talking about, people boasted about the quality of Xbox Arcade all of the time. I bought the system for Shadow Complex and Super Meat Boy is my absolute favorite game bar none. Seriously, Xbox Arcade defined the 360 for me and I'm hardly the only one.

Yeah Shadow Complex and Mark Of The Ninja were great

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

So, are we back to normal now? That discussion really took its time.

I guess so but who knows.

Ok. How about we make a bet. If terraway sells 1/10 of Halo 5, you win! If you lose, you admit I won in your sig for 6 months. If I lose, same goes the other way. Clearly sales are an indicator of which is more popular with the public. So we got a deal?

What has the number of sales got to do with what people are looking forward to? I personally love lots of games that sell less than those games that cater to the lowest common denominator. When you strive to create a diverse software base you also create a diverse userbase, which is why a lot of games on PS branded hardware sell less. If you focus all of your attention on one or two genres then of course those people who bought that console, bought it for one or two reasons, which then leads to any game falling within that criteria to reach higher sales. The only problem with that is developers don't have a wide enough market to explore newer ideas and we end up with most of them focusing too much on the 'bread and butter' genres. This is why indies and a console that focuses on diversity is good for the industry.

Sony understand that. A company that doesn't understand that ends up with a userbase that doesn't and will never appreciate diversity.

The PS5 Exists.

Killer Instinct is better than anything on PlayStation. Season 3 coming

I didn't even consider this... season 3 will likely be announced at E3.

X1, no contest... unless you like Japanese stuff.

I too play Halo for the single player (I can think of plenty of FPSs I'd prefer for multiplayer) but I actually enjoyed Halo 3. Maybe it was because I had really low expectations due to the fact that I hated Halo 2's shoddy, poorly made campaign. Did you try Halo: Reach, I thought it was the best in the series?

Halo: Reach had a fantastic campaign that doesn't seem to get much praise. I think its because its inconsistent with the book but I don't follow the story that closely.

Limbo and Trials HD were a big part of why I rebought a 360 in 2010 as well.
