I'll just about take any new IP of my favorite genres over the majority of these long running series of games. A lot of 'em are just stale.... The issues I had with alot of 'em still persist in the series. Like COD, AC, battefield, GTA, zelda and various mario games. That's just some examples. Same old stuff with new graphics. Once in a while, I'll pick up a game from an established series to see if there's any changes or if I can become interested in the series again. Most of the time that doesn't happen.

This is purely subjective. I'll take Rocket League over Halo 5 anyday, because that's my subjective opinion and that game being on ps4 means more to me than halo 5 being on xbo. Because I love that game.

Everyone needs to stop trying to prove lineups are bad from a non-sales perspective. It just seems like people are trying to discredit the ps4's lineup to put their own console above the ps4 as attacking the sales of the ps4 is not an option.

You can't say a particular console has an objectively better lineup. The only way the success of a console can be measured objectively is through sales.

All sides need to stop listing games and saying there lineup is better, it doesn't work like that. I mean what are you trying to prove? I really don't understand. That you made a better purchase? That you're smart and chose the best console? That everyone else is stupid and bought something inferior?

It's just pathetic.

Let people buy the console they wish, let people enjoy the console they buy, or if they don't enjoy it they will sell it and get a different one. There's no need to PROVE that you purchased the BEST console. There isn't a "best" console. Only a "most popular" console.

Like Fruit ninja, Ori, Magic, etc? I dunno, might as well keep them there for X1's sake, do you want the list to be even shorter?

 

I want to see Neptunia VII on that list..hopefully IF announces western date soon.

Not a single interesting (upcoming) AAA game on that list for both platforms but that's to be expected and pretty common nowadays.

im not going to say that your preference for Rocket League is inferior to somebody else's preference to Halo 5.. hell, I think I might even prefer Rocket League as I find the Halo series to be a bit boring gameplay wise. But you know what Halo does have? A captivating story, replay value, and content. Roket League is a game that amounts to maybe a few minutes of fun? I mean honestly, the game is as deep as a Mario Party mini game. Don't get me wrong, I love Mario Party and most of the mini games are fun, but this is exactly what I am talking about. These lists of games that people always point to are very shallow games and, while they might be fun, are not what people buy a $400 dollar next generation system for.

i discredit the PS4's in the same way that I discredit the X1's lineup. These companies are not supporting their console, and it's very sad. There is no excuse for the lack of exclusives on both sides.

i agree. But keep in mind, it is a bit disingenous to beef up a list with.. mini games.

I don't care what people buy. I am just stating what I think. It's ridiculous that people are "putting to rest" this idea that Sony is lacking in the exclusives department by creating lists of titles that 99% of PS4 users didn't have in mind when they bought their expensive next generation system.

Nobody really knows at this point, he is trying to spin it in a way. 

Anyway for lists I just use http://www.listwar.com/upcoming-games/  not sure why people not use that site? He has to update the site but if you send him
a friendly message what games should be added or that he forget he answers.

Lol gamechaser I'm not spinning anything you should do some research before you start accusing people. Every dev who wants will be able to publish their w10 apps on the x1. So all those appstore can be published on the X1, so even if not every dev does this there will be a huge increase in games. There  you have it, in your post: "who wants will be able to" and "can be published"...

What does that mean? Absolutely nothing. Any publisher who wants to can publish their PS4 games on Vita now, but it doesn't automatically give Vita GTA, Battlefield or Mortal Kombat.

Any publisher that publishes games on XOne is able to publish them on PS4, or on Steam, or on Google Play...

 

I seriously doubt that just any Windows 10 Phone game will automatically work on XOne, if anything because of the need to program either Kinect or controller inputs...

Sure, some might choose to do so, just like they choose to port console games to PC, but to automatically include Candy Crush Saga on the list of XOne console exclusives is a bit far fetched.

Actually they way he worded it did imply they would be good. Other than that people are entitled to their opinion not going to argue if a game is good or bad, and I haven't.
