Probably just lag.

Something like this happened to me a couple times before.

No problems here but I know my ping is about 10ms. Might be worth checking with Speedtest or the like.

I played it for 3 days now, already Lv. 20 and I had 2 disconnects and maybe 4 or 5 matches where the ink on the floor came a few seconds later during the beginning of the match (fine afterwards).
