They have the money and gaining some market share will be key for future profits. I think they have cut cost of manufacturing etc.. So yes a price-break is coming. Also think they will launch a Slim, this is very optimistic but it will allow them to rebrand the image from the DRM machine of the past, to slick, sleek xbox one. They will also have world of tanks joining them this fall on XBOX ONE and will be the first game to play cross platform. People also have not thought about this. World of Tanks is huge.

I was talking about the ps4 : D

But y, i think both of them will drop to 300$ . Ms will say it at gamescom, and sony at Tgs or PGW.

I don't expect a Xone slim before next year.

I don't think ps4 will drop by $100, sony is hurting for money way to badly and it is selling good enough for a $50 at most.

It amazes me how people ignore these facts.MS literally mimicked all of what Sony has said and been doing since the PSX.The Xbox still lacks an identity as a brand and MS still only has the same games to look forward to.The last notable Xbox game was Halo 4 and the next is Halo 5.On the other side Sony had The Last of Us (best game of the generation) and afterwards Bloodborne,which is the best game currently of the generation exclusively.LOL! I'm done.


XBox lacks a identity is where you lost me , XBox is Master chief, Halo, Gears, XBOX LIVE(defined online gaming), Kinect may have failed but still gives you a opportunity to change up gaming habits. You can also say, Sony copied XBox just as much. So not sure what your getting at.

Yes Sony literally didn't have to say shit but, NO DRM and they won. Xbox really fugged them selfs with that one.  However NA and UK are still in the fight NA will be taken because of three releases, FORZA, HALO 5, TOMB RAIDER, most likely a HD remake of Gears.  I wouldn't underestimate that line up.

Xbox as a brand is generic and boring.From the logo,to the name Xbox (sounds like a code name for a console instead of a real console name),Master Chief is a generic character as is Marcus Phoenix and that is a fact.Xbox Live did not define onloione gaming as PC defined online gaming and Live came fromt he Dreamcast.The Eyeztoy gave birth to Kinect,so Sony already allowed the player to change up gaming habits as you call it.You keep mentioning NA and UK as if the rest of the world is irrelevant lol.

Nothing is guaranteed and Halo never sold the Xbox beofre,it was COD and GTA that sold the 360.What did Halo do for the original Xbox? Nothing.Forza has been flopping for years now and TR has a bigger fanbase on PlayStation and will go to the PS4/PC anyway.Really the Xbox does nothing that stands out period and now PSN is better than Live this generation.It has always been a generic PlayStation,which is what MS said themselves they wanted it to be like the PlayStation.Understand now?Not saying the console is crap or anything,just not exciting or original for the most part.
