They have the money and gaining some market share will be key for future profits. I think they have cut cost of manufacturing etc.. So yes a price-break is coming. But y, i think both of them will drop to 300$ . Ms will say it at gamescom, and sony at Tgs or PGW.

I don't expect a Xone slim before next year.

I don't think ps4 will drop by $100, sony is hurting for money way to badly and it is selling good enough for a $50 at most.
