The N64
N64. Parents had a SNES, but didn't play it much, and they ended up selling it when I was young. Then they bought me an N64, and I haven't looked back since.
My first console was a Nes, though the console that actually made me a gamer was the PS1 since that's when I actually grew enough to appreciate gaming on a whole.

Ratchet and Clank and Jak was all I played, but it was great.
NES. No doubt about it.
The Xbox! It was so inappropriate for a 4 year old playing Halo 2, but it worked out somehow. It didn't turn me into a racist person playing COD!

Old Nintendo wouldn't survive in the modern world, mostly because Yamauchi is dead, and most of it's employees are either dead or retired.
