Forums - Gaming - Cyberpunk 2077 will be a 2017 title at the earliest

The CEO added that CD Projekt will use the profit from the release to mainly finance new projects, including two Witcher add-ons and a completely new game entitled Cyberpunk 2077.

"We hope and we are certain that Cyberpunk has even bigger commercial potential. It is too early to talk about it, though. This year, and the next one will be the years of the Witcher," Kicinski said.

Understandable, but still a shame. Game was announced far too early.

Word is that it might actually come out in 2077.

Well that's earlier than Half-Life 3 and The Last Guardian.

Disappointing. I was hoping to see it at E3.

As long as it actually comes out and isn't cancelled somewhere on the way that's fine to me, the teaser trailer was pure awesomeness made me break my own personal rule of note getting hyped because of a trailer for a game that's over 1.5 years away from launch.

I would understand the end of 2016. I mean how long until you're bored rolling in Witcher money? CD Project seem easily amused.
