Sometimes making what you want is more important than making the most money, Horii said he wants to make the next DQ for the big screen, if he doesn't change his mind then I'm sure SE is going to let him do that instead of risking having the man behind every mainline DQ game walk out on them. Besides I'm pretty sure that Sony shouldn't be too hard to convince to maybe pitch in a little for the game to come to their console, easy multimillion seller exclusive after all.

TBH, both ps4/3ds would be the smartest choice imo. As for your second sentence, though i, you, most know that DQ would easily boost HW sales for PS4, its not SE job to worry about that (not saying you suggested it). I doubt PS4 going to be close to PS3 lifetime (reply to your future title comment), even vita is barely over 4mil currently (i think its over).

Tell that too Dragon Quest Heroes being exclusive on PS4 in the west, they are actually trying to help and raise the PS4 console sales. It'll be on PS3/PS4 in Japan and exclusive to PS4 in the west.

Also it's not going to be on 3DS because it's very restricted hardware wise.

Was never talking about not being on ps4, just stating that on 3ds it would make a ton more money. And thats not to say ps4 exclusive wont make a profit because itll still make alot of money.

That said i think DQ as a franchise is one of the very very very few that should be released on all systems in japan (yes Vita/3DS + WiiU/PS4/PS3)

Ok, I gave you a clear reason on why they are trying to help raise console sales so I'm not sure why you're ignoring it.

Also yes, it's in the original post, I'm not sure how you missed it.

Well that's kind of a problem cause Japan is probably one of the last countries where even big games are exclusive apparently just because. DQ as a series could have and should have if it wanted to really capitalize on its potential gone multiplat years ago...

I'd rather it be on PS4. I don't want the 3DS dumbing the game down. I want it to be as large and open as possible. Wii U would be fine, but I very much doubt SE will release DQ that XD

I really don't think there's any amount of money that MS could pay for DQ to go exclusively to Xbox, they'd probably have to flatout buy SE for that.
