Thanks for not disappointing me.

Are you playing with HDMI/component cables instead of AV? That's the main difference. You can barely tell they're low-res with HD cables. I never did in my Prime Trilogy playthroughs.

Playing on my original 2009 Wii with component cables. :)

I completed Kirby Epic Yarn a month ago and that game looks like an HD game, it´s hard to belive that is only 480p, it could be easily a recent game for WiiU and it will be legit as it is (well, maybe some antialiasing for the bits)

That reminds me a friend lent me his copy of Skyward Sword and I can't play it because my Wiimote+Nunchuk (which is also borrowed from another friend) has no MotionPlus. Ugh. When I got the game from him I was really excited to finally play it again.

It's a case of "your mileage may vary". Different people have different tolerances and preferences.

Despite owning a HD capable system since 2009, I still find Wii games acceptable, even on my 42" screen. Sure, the picture's soft and you can see the pixels, but after a few minutes my eyes adjust to it and I stop noticing.
