I don't really see what's wrong with them, they're a Nintendo centric Portuguese website that has given it's fair share of quite positive reviews.

I don't know Portuguese so I don't really know. But probably, it would be pretty counterproductive to insult the thing they're trying to promote.

It's slightly lower than what I expdcted, but it's still a decent score! A sequel could definitely reach 85 or higher!

Higher than expected so far. Though lots of reviews clearly in the 7/10 range I would expect for such a game.

This thread is awesome. Reading over this ... wow. Everything I hoped for and more.

Personally, I give it a 98, especially because of that last free map pack. I mean, I haven't played it, or even seen it, but I know that I'll still be playing this game by then and it will be absolutely off the hook! Who wants what they pay for now when they can have it later instead? Pshaw. That's crazy.

why is metacritic not counting SOOOOOOOOO many reviews?

There's 48 of them so far but only counts 34. The average of the 48 is 83, which is respectful and more accurate.
