doubt it. people who are interested in a game like splatoon will be also interested in a game like mario kart 8 imo.
its still my most anticipated game this year scince the testfire was just awesome. but gamers now a days arnt really interested in this kind of games. they want rated m games.

As fun as Splatoon is, I can't see it moving that many consoles, even with the bundle.

Well, the people underestimate this game like the shit... That's is fact.
Some people still think will be a BOMBA, and probabily not even watch the COMG or Amazon chartz...
After that, yes, will sell some WU. not at Mario Kart 8 level, but will be a sistem seller, expecially in the US thanks the bundle.

It won't be a system seller. Splatoon will be like Wii Sports was for the Wii. The only problem I see is trying to get moms to get use to the gamepad. Of course I will have a blast.

The game will do well and being a budget title, it's prone to being picked up from a number of "impulse buyers". But it doesn't seem like the kind of game which would really fly off the shelves and push someone on the fence into buying it. A bundle might help, ofcourse.


I wish it was a budget title. I gotta pay $60 for it.
