Forums - Sony - No Man’s Sky could get a Blu-ray release teases PlayStation UK boss.

People are expecting a lot from this game.

But the true is that all we have seen in all the videos they have show (a ton of videos btw) this looks  like a contemplative game randomly generated. They are promising a lot of things but I´m seeing a big, beautiful and impressive... dissapointing, coming soon. Hope I´m wrong because is coming to PC and I´m kind of interested, but... idk

if it's coming with Blue Ray, dam i will pick this for PS4.

Doesn't seem that unlikely, No Man's Sky has generated a ton of interest after all, now it really just has to deliver, hope it does cause it looks very interesting.

Just imagine if this became a new sort of Minecraft, that would be huge for Sony if it actually really didn't come to X1, which still seems to be uncertain, games like these are why people should never underestimate indies.

It sounds like they are quite confident with the game if it truly will get a physical release. Hopefully they show more of it soon.

I'm still not sold on No Man's Sky, but I welcome a physical release. In fact, I hope this becomes standard operating procedure for all high-profile "indie" games, if not all "indie" games (although I acknowledge the financial implausibility of that reality).

Theres actually been quite a few indies with physical release of recent. Of course they often are rather limited releases.

Great! If it receives a physical version I'll buy it.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I mean, it's not a surprise. This game has been treated like a AAA game fora while now.

The wording to me is interesting. If this had been MS people would have been all over it claiming that MS were suggesting it's an exclusive. I can already imagine the articles that will follow its release IF it is announced it's also coming to the XB1 ... They won't be flattering.

The PS5 Exists.

How much space would this game take up anyways?

It's all mathamatics so I'd imagine very little space. The assets aren't stored, they're generated on the fly.
